Der Implementing Cisco Quality of Service (QOS) Kurs vermittelt detaillierte Kenntnisse über IP QoS Anforderungen, über konzeptionelle Modelle mit Differentiated Services (DiffServ), Integrated Services (IntServ) und Best Effort (over provisioning) sowie über die Implementierung von IP QoS auf Cisco IOS Switch- und Router-Plattformen. Behandelt werden die Theorie von IP QoS, Designaspekte und die Konfiguration von zahlreichen QoS-Mechanismen. Anhand von Fallstudien und Laborübungen lernen die Teilnehmer die Umsetzung der Konzepte in reale Umgebungen. Darüber hinaus vermittelt der Kurs Design und Anwendung verschiedener Advanced IP QoS features sowie die Integration von IP QoS mit Layer 2 QoS Mechanismen. Die Teilnehmer werden in die Lage versetzt, effiziente, optimierte und fehlerfreie Multiservice-Netze zu konzipieren und zu implementieren.
