How to apply the Incoterms® 2020 rules correctly

The International Commercial Terms (Incoterms® for short) are uniform rules for defining and interpreting delivery conditions in international business. Selecting the right Incoterms® clause has a decisive influence on the calculation, the costs and the transfer of risk from the seller to the buyer. The Incoterms® clauses are therefore important for all employees in purchasing and sales, but also for decision-makers in logistics, accounting and controlling.

Objective
Participants receive a comprehensive overview of the Incoterms® 2020 rules and understand their system. Using practical examples, the individual clauses are presented in the seminar and their applicability for land, sea and air transport is examined. The participants also receive information about which application errors can occur and how these can be avoided. At the end of the online-training, the participants know the costs and obligations of the contractual partners for each clause and their effects on the calculation and transport insurance.

The trainer is an accredited trainer for Incoterms®-Rules 2020 (ICC certificate number DE / 2019-0117) and specializes in the areas of customs, export control and international tax
