Overview

This course provides technical professionals with the skills that are needed to administer IBM MQ queue managers on distributed operating systems and in the Cloud. In addition to the instructor-led lectures, you participate in hands-on lab exercises that are designed to reinforce lecture content. The lab exercises use IBM MQ V9.0, giving you practical experience with tasks such as handling queue recovery, implementing security, and problem determination.

Note: This course does not cover any of the features of MQ for z/OS or MQ for IBM i.

Denn Netzwerken funktioniert ganz nach dem Grundsatz "Geben ist seliger denn nehmen." In erster Linie geht es hierbei nicht um Akquise, sondern um Kontaktpflege. Und gelingende Kommunikation. 

Wer es schafft, Beziehungen zu knüpfen, legt ein wichtiges Fundament für den späteren Erfolg. Denn das richtige Netzwerk ist wie ein Motor, der uns zügig voranbringt. Beziehungen sind Türöffner. 

Networking ist der systematische Aufbau und die Pflege dieser Beziehungen. Talent, fachliches Knowhow und Leistung sind das eine; intellektuelle, soziale und finanzielle Unterstützung, Lösungsansätze, Vorbilder und Verkaufsabschlüsse sind das andere. Ein Beziehungsnetz ersetzt die Schwäche des einzelnen durch die Stärke der Gruppe. Es bereichert das Leben und eröffnete neue Erfahrungen und Erkenntnisse.

Utilizing the lecture and a z/OS lab environment, learners will gain practical practice starting, stopping, and accessing Db2 examining the zParms and data sets connecting to a Db2 subsystem via Data Studio querying the catalog exploring RACF examining threads working with DB2I modifying Db2 active and archived logs utilizing online utilities monitoring and controlling Db2 recovering the catalog and directory and using the administrative task scheduler.
