Ziele/Bildungsabschluss:
This e-learning gives you, step by step, the essential basic knowledge of the German healthcare system, including its institutions, payers and service providers. You will learn the fundamentals of financing and become familiar with care provision within the Statutory Health Insurance (SHI) system. You will also learn how physicians, hospitals and other providers are remunerated. In addition, you will gain insights into pharmaceutical supply, covering distribution and reimbursement. After completing the e-learning, you will have internalised the fundamentals of the German healthcare system and will know the tasks and functions of the players in the system. You will also be familiar with how the regulatory instruments interact within the SHI system.
