Overview

IBM Spectrum Protect is an enterprise data protection solution designed to help you streamline your data protection processing, reduce the cost of storage, and provide the flexibility and security to meet any service level agreement. IBM Spectrum Protect optimizes storage utilization by using incremental forever as well as block-level backup and replication, policy-based data management, and an intuitive interface, the Operations Center.

 

In this course, you learn how the use of two or more Spectrum Protect servers provides more options for data movement in the environment, like replication to multiple targets. You also use IBM Cloud Object Storage to create a storage pool for backups and long-term retention. The bulk of the administrative tasks are performed using the Operations Center and Command Builder which provides a command line interface for all servers configured in the Operations Center. This course also includes scripting, performance tuning, protecting, and recovering the database and storage pools, and an introduction to IBM Spectrum Protect Plus.

 

The hands-on exercises are performed on three different IBM Spectrum Protect servers, two on Windows, and one on Linux, with additional systems added to provide the IBM Cloud Object Storage environment.

Dieser Workshop bietet eine Zusatzqualifikation des bestehenden Wissens und richtet sich primär an Personen, die bereits das BSI BCM-Praktiker-Zertifikat besitzen. Neben dem Überblick und der Einführung in ein Software-Tool bietet das Seminar konkrete Umsetzungsanleitungen eines Business Continuity Management Systems mittels Software-Tool. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf der praktischen Umsetzung der Implementierung eines BCMS nach BSI-Standard 200-4, die anhand eines Software-Tools und praxisorientierten Übungen vertieft wird. Zudem bietet das Seminar eine Plattform für den Austausch mit anderen Teilnehmenden, um Erfahrungen aus der Praxis zu teilen und Herausforderungen gemeinsam zu diskutieren.

„Cybercrime“ ist heute allgegenwärtig und befindet sich im Wandel, weg von dem abtrennbaren Bereich hin zu einem den Alltag durchdringenden Themenkomplex – gemeinsam mit Fragen der Cybersecurity. In kurzweiliger und offener Gestaltung wird sich in diesem Seminar daher ganzheitlich der Cyberkriminalität gewidmet. Es wird ein Überblick über aktuelle Entwicklungen geboten, von aktuellen Schritten des Gesetzgebers über Cybercrime-Erscheinungsformen verbunden mit Ausflügen in das IT-Arbeitsstrafrecht und Datenschutzstrafrecht. Abgerundet wird der thematische Überblick durch eine Übersicht der technischen Grundlagen und juristischen Feinheiten zu Kryptowährungen, Hackerangriffen sowie zur Schnittmenge aus IT- und Arbeitsstrafrecht bei Geschäftsgeheimnissen. Ziel der Veranstaltung ist, die Teilnehmenden fit zu machen für Cyberkriminalität in der Strafverteidigung, aber auch in der juristischen Beratung von Unternehmen im präventiven Umgang mit Cyberkriminalität.
