The goals of this seminar are a) to introduce techniques that increase efficiency as well as effectiveness and b) to find solutions and strategies to balance workload and time for family and recreation to prevent burnout. Classic and new time management techniques and principles are introduced and adjusted to the participants' work environments. 

The seminar is led by Beatrix Stahlberger (Psychologist, Coach)

  • New Developments: Work from home and hybrid work environments
  • Work-Life Balance and Work-Life Fusion 
  • Increasing Efficiency and Effectiveness – The 7 Habits (Stephen Covey)
  • Time Management Principles and Techniques – Pareto Principle, Eisenhower Principle, Parkinson Rule, importance and urgency, To-Do-List and planning, etc.
  • Self Organization – Goals and priorities, effective communication, contracts and commitments
  • Self Reflection – Identifying sources of interruptions and time killers, becoming aware of personal vulnerabilities: e.g. procrastination, perfectionism, trying to please everybody, etc., strategies and tricks to overcome procrastination 
  • Work Organization – Avoiding sources of interruptions, organizing the work desk (paper and paperless environments), standards for filing systems, generating and installing work routines.
